"In ogni luogo" è il terzo album dei Finisterre, pubblicato originariamente da Iridea records nel 1999. In questo disco l'ascendenza progressive del gruppo è mescolata con tantissime componenti: musica colta, tocchi jazz, sapienza strumentale che trascende i generi e li incunea dove risiede la musica migliore.

Una creatività ad ampio raggio che trova nelle alchimie etno- futuribili di “Coro elettrico” per esempio, un suo punto di forza, come pure nel collage cinematografico di “Snaporaz”, un andamento pieno di emozioni in movimento. “In ogni luogo” è un disco obliquo fatto di melodie sognanti (“Le città indicibili” eccellente intreccio fra il violino dell'ospite Sergio Caputo e gli altri strumenti), di tocchi dichiaratamente sinestetici (“Agli amici sinestetici”) e di sospensioni liquide.

Fondamentale la presenza in sede di produzione di Roberto Colombo come pure il coinvolgimento, in più di un brano, della voce fascinosa di Francesca Lago. Delle sue capacità di nutre, per esempio la notturna e jazzata “Continuitàdilaraneltempo”, sostenuta anche dal sax di Edmondo Romano che impreziosisce anche la conclusiva “Wittgenstein mon amour”.

Questa è l'edizione rimasterizzata e pubblicata da AMS Records nel 2010, con l'aggiunta di quattro bonus track, completamente inedite all'epoca della prima edizione del disco.

“In ogni luogo” is Finisterre's third album, originally released by Iridea Records in 1999. In this record the progressive attitude of the band is mixed with many other influences: classical music, jazz, creating an instrumental approach that transcends genres, in other words simply playing some great music.

The wide-ranging creativity of Finisterre can be found in the ethno-futuristic alchemy of “Coro elettrico” or in the movie collage “Snaporaz”, in a performance full of emotions-in-motion while the nice title track “In ogni luogo” is made of dreamy melodies (“Le città indicibili”, with the excellent violin of Sergio Caputo).

The outstanding production by Roberto Colombo has to be mentioned, as well as the involvement in two songs of the charming voice of Francesca Lago: in the nocturnal and jazzy “Continuitàdilaraneltempo” (with the fantastic sax of Edmondo Romano) and the final “Wittgenstein mon amour”.

This is the remastered 2010 AMS Records edition, and includes four bonus tracks, completely unreleased at the time of the first edition.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer.
